Google is rolling out a plethora of updates for Pixel watches, smartphones, and tablets, with some features also extending to their predecessors. For instance, Night Sight for Instagram is now available on all Pixel 6 or newer devices, except for the A series, allowing users to take well-lit photos directly on the platform. Updates for Pixel 6 or newer devices include astrophotography through Night Sight and theft protection, which is now globally available for all Android 10 or newer devices. Later this year, Google will introduce Identity Check, requiring biometric authentication for certain actions. The new Theft Detection Lock feature uses machine learning to prevent theft attempts, along with additional tools like Remote Lock and Offline Device Lock. The latest lineup introduced in August, including the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro, offers exclusive features such as the Gemini extension for screenshots and underwater case compatibility for improved imaging underwater.
