Additionally, sharing locations could be vital for Meta’s future advertising plans for Threads, as Mark Zuckerberg has mentioned the company’s intention to introduce ads to the platform. While Meta has not responded to inquiries about the feature, it appears to still be in the process of rolling it out, as it briefly appeared in the Threads app for some users but then disappeared shortly after. Currently, the location sharing feature is not visible on the web version of Threads.
